Will weighing your food help your Phentermine 37.5mg weight loss efforts? According to journalism professor Michael Easter, one of the keys to weight loss isn’t weighing yourself, it is weighing what you eat. The concept is to learn more about your eating habits and give yourself an exact idea of how much you are consuming. Serving sizes do not always tell the whole story.

Learning How To Correctly Portion Food

“When starting a diet, measuring food is an important part of learning about correct serving sizes,” Madeline R. Vann, MPH wrote for Everyday Health. “A food scale will show you that the portion you thought was four ounces may actually weigh eight ounces. That’s the kind of mistake that could derail your diet.”

The idea seems to really work. Easter tried it and found the results “shocking.”

“I had the same lunch every day and it was a protein shake with an apple and peanut butter and it’s like, ‘Oh that’s totally a healthy lunch—this is a great lunch.’ But when I weighed peanut butter for the first time I was taking like three servings and I thought it was only one,” Easter told NBC News Better. “So here I was thinking I’m eating 200 calories, but I’m really eating 600.”

National Survey Confirmation

According to a national survey of more than 6,000 adults, weighing your food is a great tool when trying to lose weight. People who measured their food intake were more successful at losing weight than those who did not. Experts recommend using a scale that measures both ounces and grams to enjoy the best results.

Try using a food scale as part of your Phentermine regimen…and see how you do!
