Exercise plays an important role in losing weight with Phentermine 37.5mg or any other weight loss regimen. But how long does it take to notice a difference from working out? See what experts have to say to adjust your program as needed.

Caloric Deficit & Fat Loss

“If you’re trying to lose fat by working out, you’re going to need to establish a caloric deficit through working out alone,” says NASM-certified trainer Ashleigh Kast, adding “the amount of working out you need to do in a week without addressing food to maintain that caloric deficit can be very stressful.”

She notes trying to create this deficit isn’t the most realistic goal, and that working out every day isn’t recommended due to the stress it puts on the body.

“In some cases, where calories are still very high, it’s simply not enough to create the necessary deficit,” the trainer says.

Gaining Muscle & Weight Loss

The more muscle your body features, the easier it becomes to blast fat and burn calories efficiently all day long. However, you may not notice a difference on the scale.

“If you try to go on the scale while you’re developing muscle mass, you might see either no change in the weight, or you might see that your pounds go up. So, see how you feel in your clothes and see how you feel in the mirror,” says Ashley Kelly, another NASM-certified trainer.

Kelly also emphasizes getting plenty of sleep and eating well to see changes in a relatively short period of time.

“If you’re consistently doing something and wait at least 21 to 42 days, then you will see changes,” she says.
