7 Ways To Feel Better When You Overeat

Despite best efforts, everyone overeats sometimes, resulting in that uncomfortable “too full” feeling. If you went overboard on your Phentermine 37.5mg “cheat day,” use these tips to feel better fast.

Breathe & Stretch

Take a minute to breathe deeply and perform some light stretches. The movement helps your GI tract function at an optimal rate so you lose that too-full feeling quickly. If you still feel extra full, go for a walk around your neighborhood to burn calories and help your food digest. Walk for up to 20 minutes to de-bloat.

Avoid Extremes

Do not use overeating as a reason to starve yourself, take laxatives, or ingest any digestive supplement other than papaya enzyme. Going to extremes will only make you feel worse instead of better.

Sip Herbal Tea

Sip some herbal tea known for soothing the digestive system, such as ginger or mint tea. These herbal drinks also help the digestive system relax so your meal moves at a faster rate.

Drink Plenty Of Water

Keep up with your water intake to help your food digest efficiently. Also make a habit of drinking a glass of water about 30 minutes before you enjoy a meal so you eat less.

Eat A Light Salad

Consume a light salad four to six hours after over-indulging to help your metabolism stay active. Make certain you really chew every bite to further promote timely digestion.

Get Seven To Eight Hours Of Sleep

Sleep for seven to eight hours. Avoid eating right before bedtime or drinking alcohol, as both disrupt natural sleep processes. Getting sufficient sleep also helps reduce cravings because the body regulates hunger hormones while at rest.

Give Yourself A Break

Don’t be so hard on yourself--overeating happens to everyone! Just make a promise to yourself to be more mindful about what you consume.
