Are avocados the next big diet food

A new study from the Center for Nutrition Research at Illinois Institute of Technology suggests what some people already know: avocados are a wonderful diet food. While the fatty fruit has recently come under fire for its caloric content, new research points to avocado’s function as a carbohydrate substitute that suppresses the appetite without the extra calories. Learn about this study, which was published in the peer-reviewed journal Nutrients, as you start taking another appetite suppressant–Phentermine 37.5mg.

Effects On Hunger & Fullness

The study looked at the fruit’s effect on hunger, fullness, and participant satisfaction over a six-hour timeframe. Effects were studied on 31 overweight and obese adults, with the dietary change proving to also reduce insulin and blood glucose excursions. Avocados subsequently reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

“For years, fats have been targeted as the main cause of obesity, and now carbohydrates have come under scrutiny for their role in appetite regulation and weight control,” said Britt Burton-Freeman, Ph.D., director of the Center for Nutrition Research at Illinois Tech. “There is no ‘one size fits all’ solution when it comes to optimal meal composition for managing appetite. However, understanding the relationship between food chemistry and its physiological effects in different populations can reveal opportunities for addressing appetite control and reducing rates of obesity, putting us a step closer to personalized dietary recommendations.”

Incorporating Avocado Into Your Diet

If you want to consume more avocado as part of your Phentermine fast weight loss program, there are many ways to do it. Consume the fatty fruit on toast or in any number of salads. It is also the main ingredient in guacamole–if you make your own, you can control how much of the other ingredients you add. And these are just some of your options!
