Spinning has remained a popular exercise option for many years thanks to its calorie-blasting effects. If you recently took up spinning as part of your new Phentermine 37.5mg regimen but are not seeing the results you want, you may be making a few key mistakes unknowingly. Learn about these mistakes to improve your spinning and see the results you want.

Mistake #1: Improper Bike Setup

“If a bike seat is too high, you will not be able to use your leg muscles correctly to push out of the saddle, and can possibly cause a knee injury,” says spinning expert and performance coach Cydney Lebovitz. “The knee should not be bent more than 90 degrees during rotation and the handlebars should be approximately one to two inches higher than the seat.”

Mistake #2: Not Really Challenging Yourself

“From person to person, gear 10, at a given cadence, can feel very different,” says Lebovitz. “Even day-to-day, a person’s energy and ability may fluctuate.” Rather than giving up spinning, Lebovitz notes that “A good sweat, raised heart rate and breathlessness are generally pretty good indications of hard work in a given ride. As a general rule, if the power average does not seem to be improving over say 10 or more rides, the rider is probably not using enough power.”

Mistake #3: Poor Pacing

Doing too much too fast is not going to help you, either.

“We tell new riders to keep it very easy for the first half of a class in order to ensure they have enough ‘left in the tank’ for the whole ride,” Lebovitz notes. “With experience, riders get a feel for how hard they should start off in order to finish the class.”
